Court in the Daily Herald - After literally fighting himself for a couple of years in the form of an addiction to illegal drugs and prescription pain killers, Court McGee, 25, of Orem got the upper hand and is currently taking the sport of mixed martial arts to the next level.
On Sept. 9, 2005, McGee overdosed on heroine and was clinically dead at 10:56 p.m. His heart had stopped. But after a few minutes he came back, and had to relearn how walk, talk and eat.
"I didn't have any friends or family. The people I surrounded myself with were drug users. I had no job," he said. "It was a horrible atmosphere to be in." Read More!
